About the Golf Course
Donalsonville Country Club is 18 Holes of Championship Golf set in Seminole County, Georgia.  There are four sets of tees with distances ranging from 5200 yards to 6800 yards, making the golf course playable for all skill levels.

About our Community
Seminole County is located in the extreme southwest corner of Georgia.  We are a short distance from Panama City, FL and Tallahassee, FL as well as Dothan, AL and Albany, GA.  Fine dining, shopping, and beautiful scenery can be found all around locally.  Seminole County is the “Gateway to Lake Seminole”, known nationally as one of the best bass fishing lakes in the country.  Great hunting, fishing, and outdoor sporting opportunities are certainly inviting to everyone that enjoys nature at its finest.

One point of interest at Lake Seminole is the 600-acre Seminole State Park.  Located 16 miles south of Donalsonville, the park features cottages, campsites, and picnic shelters, all of which are located near the water’s edge.  Visitors can also enjoy the 2.2 mile Gopher Tortoise nature trail, a wetlands boardwalk, and one of the largest Longleaf Pine forests in a Georgia State Park.  Other activities include miniature golf, canoeing, and kayaking.  Nearby wildlife management areas provide great duck and deer hunting.



Donalsonville’s historic downtown district offers the best in small town shopping with a variety of gift shops and boutiques. 

Each year during the 3rd weekend in October the Donalsonville/Seminole County Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Harvest Festival, which is designed to celebrate the county’s number of industry agriculture.  Visitors can come to enjoy a parade, arts and crafts, car show, Indian artifact show, entertainment, and good southern cooked food.

Other events throughout the year include the Spirit of Christmas Celebration, Christmas Tour of Homes, Shellcracker Tournament and Festival, a July 4th Celebration at the Park and Bass Tournaments.  In addition, the Seminole County Arts Council sponsors plays and musical performances throughout the year.
